PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
This course will offer a variety of clinical practice guideline updates that have most recently occurred. NPs must be sure to stay current on the latest clinical practice guidelines in order to provide the best care to our patients. Topics that may be included are community acquired pneumonia, croup, urinary tract infections, sexually transmitted infections, otitis media, strep pharyngitis and possibly others as time will allow. The focus will be a brief overview of what has changed, been added or updated as well as a summary of anything new that has come out recently.

EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES
As a result of participating in the activity, learners should be better able to: Review some of the most useful sites to locate clinical practice guidelines and the importance of pediatric-focused APRNs keeping current and up to date.Highlight the most recent clinical practice guidelines that have been introduced or updated.Summarize the major points of the specific clinical practice guidelines that have been recently introduced or updated.
