PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
Pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) is a rare, chronic condition characterized by elevated pulmonary vascular resistance, remodeling and occlusion of the pulmonary arterioles, right ventricular dysfunction, right heart failure, and death, if untreated. The development of several highly effective targeted therapies increases the importance of recognition and understanding of the condition. This multi-activity CME curriculum is designed to address the educational needs related to PAH. The activity is interactive and fast-paced. It allows learners to test their knowledge, to compare their responses to their peers and find out what the experts have to say about PAH.
