PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has rolled out their new Quality Payment Program (QPP), which many clinicians still refer to as MACRA (Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act of 2015). The strategic goals of the QPP are to improve beneficiary outcomes, enhance clinical experience, improve data and information sharing, and ensure operational excellence in program implementation. While the goals are laudable, clinicians are challenged to understand the new rules for reimbursement under QPP. This webcast shows clinicians how they can navigate the payment maze—including how to leverage data in electronic medical records—to improve beneficiary outcomes and enhance clinical experiences while ensuring optimal participation in the new payment models now in place.
