This interactive case study will address the monitoring and management of cardiovascular disease and flares in patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA). The case will discuss the need for extra vigilance in patients with RA. Recommendations from the National Lipid Association are presented. The complex relationships between lipid levels, inflammation, and RA treatments are discussed.
