This educational activity is comprised of a collection of 4 expert commentary interviews that highlight the most pertinent content from the Dyslipidemia/Atherosclerosis Session at the 2018 CMHC West meeting. As heart disease is the leading cause of death in the Unites States, healthcare providers can play a major role in stemming the future burden of cardiovascular disease by employing strategies for the early identification and comprehensive management of patients presenting with multiple cardiometabolic risk factors.
