PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
The primary care PNP and their fellow pediatric-focused APRNs are often the first provider interaction families have when raising concerns about food allergies. This initial encounter can determine the fate of a child’s food allergy diagnosis. This talk will be unique as the focus will be both on prevention of food allergies, as well as managing children who currently have food allergies. Plan to review pearls for practice of anticipatory guidance about infant feeding and opportunities to educate families about food allergies.
