EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES
As a result of participating in the activity, learners should be better able to: Review the basic mechanism of action of commonly used antidepressants and atypical antipsychotics.Identify pharmacogenetic influences observed in response to and adverse effects associated with commonly prescribed psychotropic medications.Describe issues around managing or co-managing children and adolescents on antidepressants and atypical antipsychotics.
